| The Society of Garden Designers (SGD) has produced a consultancy agreement for a domestic customer to appoint a garden designer to design and, if required, to oversee the construction and planting of the garden by a landscape contractor. | |
| SGD has also produced a domestic garden construction and planting contract between the customer and contractor, for use when a consultant is to oversee the contractor’s work. | |
| These two documents have been designed to be used together. They have been agreed by organisations representing designers and contractors through the JCLI Contracts Forum. The documents are based on the well respected JCT Home Owner/Occupier contract for building works and the associated consultancy agreement. | |
