Please note that this is an open area for members to comment freely and the SGD does not control, monitor or guarantee the information contained in the Forum.  You will be registered with the forum when you join the Society. You will receive an activation email and your user name and password. Once you have activated your account you will have full access. There is no public access to the forum. If you are already a member of the society but not yet registered with the forum, please contact Gill Hinton.

We would like to point out that members should not make any defamatory or untrue statements. If the administrators find anyone making untrue or otherwise damaging statements they will immediately be blocked from access to the forum.

The SGD does not allow members to offer goods (or services) for sale on forum – even the odd piece of office furniture etc. There are various rules which govern how the website operates and it is too difficult for us to regulate. However, if you do have something you wish to offer for sale to other members, there is the opportunity for members only to place an advert in Vitis for 20p per word simply contact the office.
