MEMBERSHIP

The SGD welcomes everyone working in, or studying in garden design to join the society.Our membership includes garden designers and landscape architects, with many coming into the profession as a second or third career change from areas as diverse as textiles, pharmacy, helicopter design and accountancy. Depending on what stage you are in your career, you can become a Member of the Society as

Student Member - open to all students on garden design and landscape design courses in the UK
Pre Registered Member - this category of membership is open to all who aspire to Registered Membership
Registered Member - professional status awarded to those designers assessed and approved by the SGD

Or you can simply join as

Friend - this includes professional photographers, writers and others for whom there is no desire to gain professional status in garden design
