			Congratulations to John Wyer (FSGD) of Bowles & Wyer who swept the board at the New Homes Garden Awards taking six Awards including the prestigious ‘Garden Designer of the Year’ and the ‘Landscape Architect of the Year’. 			Garden Media Guild Awards 2011
			Several member of the Society were recognized at the annual Garden Media Guild (GMG) Awards including Dan Pearson (MSGD) who won the ‘Inspirational Book of the Year’ Award for Home Ground: sanctuary in the city and John Brookes (FSGD) who took one of two ‘Lifetime Achievement’ Awards as voted by member of the Guild. 			BALI Awards 2011
			Once again, the annual BALI Awards included two categories to recognise the talents of landscape and garden designers. Congratulations to Jacquetta Menzies (MSGD) who was made Principal Winner of Landscape Design Excellence Award for a garden project under £50,000 and Janine Pattison (MSGD) who was the Principal Award Winner for Landscape Design Excellence Award over £50,000. 			RHS Gold Veitch Memorial Medal 2011
			Rosemary Alexander FSGD has been awarded the coveted RHS Gold Veitch Memorial Medal. 			Wyevale Award 2010
