Garden Designer

• Company: Lizzie Tulip Landscape & Garden Design
• Location: York, North Yorkshire

Lizzie Tulip Landscape & Garden Design are a multi award winning garden design practice, working on prestigious gardens and landscapes.

We are looking for a talented designer who works well in a team, works to a high standard and enjoys the creative process.

Role and responsibilities will include:

• Manage design projects
• Complete Site assessment work
• Develop Concept Design Plans
• Produce detailed technical and construction drawings
• Assist with specifications and other contract documents
• Creation of imaginative planting schemes
• Attend onsite meetings with contractors, consultants and clients
• General office administration

We are looking for the following skills and qualifications:

• At least 2 years relevant experience
• Qualified garden or landscape designer
• Excellent Vectorworks skills
• Excellent communication skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Organised and efficient
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Good plant knowledge
• Knowledge of the UK planning system
• UK driving licence and own vehicle
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Flexible, enthusiastic and positive attitude
• Highly proficient spoken and written English
