Freelance Landscape Construction Consultant

We are a growing and dynamic garden design practice based in South East London. We deliver client and site-focused, high end landscape design for private residential clients in London and surrounding counties.

We are looking for an experienced landscaper/foreman to advise and support our design and creative team with detail and construction drawings, specifications and CRM. The position offers opportunity for innovative thinking and welcomes/encourages new ideas/creative solutions/problem solving.

Applicants to demonstrate:

A professional qualification in landscaping, horticulture, or other land-based industry.
A minimum of 5 years practical experience in the landscape industry, preferably in a BALI registered industry-leading landscape company. In both hard and soft landscaping.
Excellent attention to detail.
Experience of Construction (Design & Management) Regulations.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team and interested in the creative process.
A problem-solving and “think outside the box” attitude to support the design team with new ideas and cost effective solutions.
Interest in new materials, technologies and construction methods.
Experience in producing estimates/ budget and cost plans.
Experience in liaising with contractors and suppliers.
Project monitoring experience.
Remote working available, however time in the studio will be required at times as well as site visits.
Experience and / or interest in sustainable design/construction a bonus.
Knowledge and experience of SUDs and drainage a strong advantage.
Knowledge of Vectorworks or Autocad a strong advantage.
