Garden Consultant

This role would be suited to newly qualified designers or garden consultants with a strong Horticultural background or those looking for an exciting change in direction. The role will develop as the company grows and you’ll be a crucial part of that journey. The role will include:

Job requirements

Take consultations on site with clients on design and garden planting
Present design and consultation notes to clients
Co-ordinate with Garden Centre on stock for plant sales to clients and stock sourcing
Arrange planting schedules for clients and supervise work on site (some planting work necessary)
Liaise with Garden Centre on schedules for clients to meet staff requirements

Skills and requirements:

A qualification in Garden design and horticulture
Strong technical skills, including hand drawing, Vectorworks, publisher and Microsoft Office.
Passion for plants and design, with good core plant knowledge.
Good communication skills to provide a responsive and professional service to our clients
A good understanding of current garden design trends together with a good understanding of landscape construction.
You will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently to deadlines.
Good time keeping, presentation and customer service
Flexible, reliable, and confident, with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
Driver’s license and own transport.

Full-time position on a permanent employment basis.
Salary dependant on experience and qualifications
