We have a wonderful opportunity for a qualified and talented Landscape Architect to join our successful studio based in Pimlico. We are looking for a creative person with a focus on innovative design and attention to detail. You must be a motivated, organised team player with a willingness to learn and a passion for landscape design. The candidate must have a thorough working knowledge of Vectorworks, Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch-up as a minimum. You should be a proficient Mac user.

The role includes working alongside Arabella Lennox-Boyd in the day-to-day running of the business. You would also be working together with her and the team to deliver the projects to her high, award winning standard. Teamwork is at the heart of the studio and you will have the opportunity to collaborate on a wide range of exciting private and commercial UK based and international projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate, diverse & collaborative team. 
 
Key skills and experience:  

  • Qualified Landscape Architect with a degree in Landscape Architecture (or equivalent) with at least 3 years’ experience working within a Garden Design studio or Landscape Architecture practice.
  • Good plant knowledge.
  • Must have strong organisational skills, initiative and excellent written and verbal communication.
  • A creative thinker and a problem solver who relishes new challenges and respond calmly and effectively to unexpected events.  
  • A keen learner who wants to gain new skills and can learn from their mistakes.
  • Experienced in project filing and archiving.  
  • Thorough working knowledge of Vectorworks, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch-up and Microsoft Office. 
  • A real team player, someone who is self-motivated but also happy to cooperate and work with other designers and subcontractors.
  • Fluent in English, with knowledge of Italian and French an advantage  

Key features of what you will do:

  • Assist the team with design and admin work in relation to existing and future projects as well as project managing.
  • Assist in new projects and being responsible for the design process and administration.  
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure our existing and future contract are delivered efficiently and to the highest possible standard.
  • Understand the business as a whole and identify opportunities for growth.  

Salary: Based on experience

Job type: Full time, permanent position
