We are looking for an experienced Landscape Architect or Garden Designer to work on a freelance basis on individual projects at our rapidly growing design studio in North Yorkshire. Our projects include high-end town and country gardens and estates in N Yorkshire and across the UK. Our style is Eco-formal – elegant, innovative design coupled to using building techniques and planting which are beneficial to nature.

Build experience and a love of landscape design are paramount. Our goal is to produce beautiful, innovative work, making the experience effortless and enjoyable for our clients.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, a good collaborator, and with excellent construction design knowledge.

Requirements:

Qualified Landscape Architect or Garden Designer with 3+ years experience
Based in N Yorkshire
Proficient in Vectorworks, Keynote/Powerpoint, Xcel
Good drawing skills
Able to produce detailed, creative Masterplans to our house style
Able to produce Construction drawings, Sections & elevation drawings
Good plant knowledge
An interest in the history of garden design, architecture and interior design
Highly organised
A good collaborator
Experience of delivering complex projects
Experience of working with specialist consultants and craftspeople
Full driving licence
Able to provide two references

This is a freelance role, which could lead to full time employment.

Remuneration on a project-by-project basis at the outset.
