Fully Qualified Gardener

Full Time Up To 40 Hours A Week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time gardener to work alongside award winning garden designer Chris Eves MSGD on a large expanding garden in a stunning countryside location. The successful candidate will join a small family team to maintain and develop their garden which includes formal and wildlife ponds, mature woodland, lawns and herbaceous borders.

Requirements

RHS Level 2 or equivalent qualification
Gardening experience
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
UK driving license and own vehicle
Proactive attitude
Works well with others
Flexibility

Main Responsibilities:

Working alongside award winning garden design team to develop a large expanding garden of several acres.
Maintaining and enhancing the quality of all areas of the gardens including large formal and wildlife ponds.
Care of formal lawns and meadows.
Use of large and small garden machinery.
Planting new trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants.
Pruning existing trees and shrubs.

Start: January 2021

Salary: Competitive, pension scheme and paid holidays included.
