Garden Designer and Estimator

We are looking for a proactive designer to join our growing team and to work alongside the Director.

We work on both private and commercial projects.

Based in Staines Upon Thames we cover all areas in Surrey.

Requirements:

Main responsibilities:

A detailed understanding of garden construction.
The ability to produce garden designs across all stages.
Competence to produce construction and design detailed drawings and specifications
Soft and hard landscaping knowledge.
Good verbal, written, and presentational communication skills
An efficient work method to enable a fast turnaround of design work.
Excellent Vectorworks skills to produce 2D plans and 3D visuals (or SketchUp). Some familiarity with Photoshop is ideal but not essential.
Meeting clients to discuss the garden and present designs.
Have good plant and horticultural knowledge.
Have experience working on a range of different sized projects, mainly high-end domestic gardens.
Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
A good communicator with good co-ordination skills, with ability to use your own initiative and meet key deadlines.
Be able to source materials, place and manage orders and suppliers.
Manage planting schemes from producing planting plans through to completion.
