times: 10:00 - 16:00

venue: The Hall Exeter, Stepcote Hill, Exeter, EX1 1BD

Using his previous experience as a photographic artist, Steve has developed a personal style in his visual work by combining various digital techniques and software often with traditional hand drawn methods.

Having had two designs nominated for SGD awards and having been involved in several RHS shows, Steve understands the power a strong visual can have when selling your ideas, not only to your client but also on more prestigious platforms. Now working on larger developments as well as community driven projects and TV opportunities these techniques opened up a lot of doors to other areas of the industry.

This lecture is aimed at practicing garden designers who may feel a little overwhelmed when it comes to digital software. The focus of this lecture will be on Photoshop, including elements of Sketchup and how they can be used together. Steve will be showing you his own methods with lots of hints and tips he has discovered along the way in order to make it accessible and most importantly to make it work for you and your practice.

What is included:

  • Inspiration and how to make the software work for you and your business
