DESCRIPTION:With: Joe Wainwright\, Professional Garden Photographer\n\nDate: Tuesday 12th July\, 2022\n\nVenue: Bluebell Cottage Gardens\, Lodge Lane\, Dutton\, near Warrington\, Cheshire WA4 4HP\n\nFollowing on from the success of the lockdown Photography session that Joe Wainwright kindly did for us via zoom last year\, there was lots of interest in having a hands on practical session\, so I’m delighted to announce this one day workshop with Joe at Bluebell Cottage Gardens.\n\nThe workshop will use a combination of a presentation\, practical work and personal feedback to give designers an understanding of:\n\nHow to achieve good composition using a variety of techniquesHow to take advantage of different lighting conditionsHow to spot the best photographic possibilities in their gardensHow to use more advanced settings (if available on their cameras)\, to achieve greater impact in their photosCourse Tutor Profile: Joe is based in near Chester and is an award-winning professional garden photographer who works with garden designers\, garden owners and organisations including the National Trust and RHS. He has been featured in publications such as: Garden Design Journal\, The English Garden\, Gardens Illustrated and The Garden and in books including those by Tom Stuart-Smith\, Penelope Hobhouse and Bodnant Garden.\n\nHe is a full member of the Garden Media Guild and Professional Garden Photographers' Association\, and has won awards in the 2022\, 2021\, 2020\, 2018\, 2016 and 2015 International Garden Photographer of the Year competitions. Examples of Joe’s garden images can be found on his website at https:// www.joewainwright.co.uk/portfolio CPD day North West Region\n\nTarget audience: This course is suitable for new and practicing garden designers with a range of photographic abilities and experience\, using all types of camera – from phones to DSLRs\n\nThe course is limited to 10 delegates\n\nProgramme: 09:30 arrival for 10.00 start. Finish approx 16:00\n\nItems to bring: please bring your preferred choice of note taking\, camera\, iPhone. For those with stand-alone cameras rather than phones\, please bring memory cards and spare battery. It is advisable to wear clothes and footwear suitable for the outdoor photographic session.\n\nCatering: tea and coffee will be provided but please bring your own packed lunch to enjoy in the gardens\n\nDirections: the venue is ideally situated close to J10\, M56 Motorway\n\nOther information: free parking\n\n
