What you did last time plus a bit?\n\nDo you struggle to decide what to charge clients for your services? \n\nDo you feel you always do much more work on a job than you’re being paid for? \n\nThis webinar will demonstrate how to establish a rate for the work that designers do and how work to ensure you charge appropriately.\n\nThe objective of this talk is to give you confidence and tools to improve your approach to quoting design work.\n\nIt will work through several methods that might be used to set the revenue earned on a project:  from the quick\, through to some more robust methods. \n\nDifferent projects may require different approaches or resources and a range of pricing methods can be useful to appreciate the best way to manage work and therefore charge.\n\nAdditional income streams will also be discussed:  what aspects of a project\, other than design that might be charged (plants\, hard landscaping materials\, additional services).\n\n Topics covered: \n\nCalculating your efficiency and running costs\n\nThe hourly rate\n\nQuick methods to estimate a project’s potential\n\nRepeatable quotation methods\n\nWorking collaboratively\n\nWork schedules\n\nGetting paid\n\nWhat to do about bad debtors\n\nRevenue streams other than design\n\nEvery design practice is different\, but a comprehensive\, repeatable quotation system is critical to maintain a healthy business and competitive position. \n\nThe sample spreadsheets used in this training session will be issued to attendees.\n\n
