Jason has a wealth of knowledge and practical experience in the landscape industry so this is the ideal opportunity to expand your design expertise and tackle the all important issue of drainage in your designs. \n\nThis one day course will cover:- \n\nSession 1 – What is drainage\, why do we need it and how do we do it? \n\nIdentifying problems - poor natural drainage and man made issuesMechanics of different drainage systems and how they work Session 2 –Designing gradients and falls to remove surface water from paved surfaces\n\nHydrostatic gradient\, patios\, terraces\, retaining wallsGrids and gullies and different types of product  Session 3 – Regulations and Laws governing drainage \n\nSolutions\, which one is the right system - case studiesEnvironmental responsibilities\, sustainability\, constraints and limitations Course tutor profile: Jason has over 30 years experience within the landscape industry working for a number of high profile companies\, building small domestic gardens to multi million pound projects as well as building show gardens at RHS Chelsea and Tatton Show. As well as a passion for horticulture\, Jason has taught landscape construction and trained and coached students to enter the World skills arena.
