DESCRIPTION:With: Joe Wainwright\, Professional Garden Photographer \nDate: Tuesday 4th July\, 2023 \nTime: 09:30 - 16:00   \nLocation: Abbeywood Gardens\, Chester Road\, Delamere\, Northwich CW8 2HS \n\nFollowing on from the success of last year’s Photography workshop with award winning garden photographer Joe Wainwright\, I’m delighted to announce we will be repeating this one day workshop at the beautiful Abbeywood Gardens in Delamere\, Cheshire in May. Joe has a wealth of knowledge and practical experience to inspire designers to make the most of their garden photography.  \nThe workshop will use a combination of a presentation\, practical work and personal feedback to give designers an understanding of:\n\n•    How to achieve good composition using a variety of techniques\n•    How to take advantage of different lighting conditions\n•    How to spot the best photographic possibilities in your gardens\n•    How to use more advanced settings (if available on your camera)\, to achieve greater impact in their photos  \n\nCourse tutor profile: Joe is based near Chester and is an award-winning professional garden photographer who works with garden designers\, garden owners and organisations including the National Trust and RHS. He has been featured in publications such as: Garden Design Journal\, The English Garden\, Gardens Illustrated and The Garden and in books including those by Tom Stuart-Smith\, Penelope Hobhouse and Bodnant Garden.  \nHe is a full member of the Garden Media Guild and Professional Garden Photographers' Association\, and has won awards in the 2022\, 2021\, 2020\, 2018\, 2016 and 2015 International Garden Photographer of the Year competitions.  \nExamples of Joe’s garden images can be found on his website.\n\nTarget audience: This course is suitable for new and practicing garden designers with a range of photographic abilities and experience\, using all types of camera – from phones to DSLRs.\nThe course is limited to 10-12 delegates.\n\nProgramme: 09:30 arrival for 10.00 start. Finish approx 16:00 \nItems to bring: please bring your preferred choice of note taking\, camera and/or phone plus appropriate charger.  For those with stand-alone cameras rather than phones\, please bring memory cards and spare battery. It is advisable to wear clothes and footwear suitable for the outdoor photographic session.  \nCatering: tea and coffee will be provided. Lunch can be purchased in the adjacent garden cafe.  \nOther information: free parking \n\n
