DESCRIPTION:Engaging Clients With BiodiversityA deep dive into finding wildlife in our gardens\n\nWith: Noel Brock\nDate: 30th May 2024\nTimes: 10am - 4pm\nVenue: Bristol Botanic Gardens\, Linnaeus Room\, Stoke Park Road\, Stoke Bishop\, Bristol BS9 1JG\n\nParking: Limited at the venue\, please use the free parking on the road where possible.\n\nNoel Brock has been building \, planting and maintaining wildlife gardens in Hampstead\, Central London\, for 30 years.\nDuring this time \, he has also worked on the Hampstead Heath survey\, and in the many local nature reserves he helps to manage.\nNoel’s wildlife garden clients have long been delighted by his ability to bring ecological survey techniques to a home audience\, and take clients on a safari in their own garden.\nOn the CPD LUVBUG day\, Noel will show examples of the basic equipment needed to discover garden wildlife and demonstrate the use of this equipment \, in any weather and any type of garden\, to capture and photograph these creatures.\nHe will also talk about the best and least expensive wildlife identification books\, where to source the equipment\, and the best way to approach local wildlife trusts for help\, support and contacts.\n\nTarget audience: Anyone who wants to learn to how to learn how to find the amazing wildlife in our gardens and get their clients on engaged with the benefits of biodiversity.\nProgramme: Arrive in time for a 10am start.\nItems to bring: your preferred form of note taking\, camera\, magnifying glass (if you have one)\, outdoor clothing.\nLunch: There is a cafe available or feel free to bring a packed lunch. Tea and coffee will be provided.\n\n
