Overview:
This is a follow-up course, for those have already done the Basic SketchUp course and for others who are simply wanting to improve their general skills when modelling in 3-D. This course will cover the creation of more complex geometries such as botanically accurate plant models, bespoke furniture, and other objects unique to our personal design styles like planters, fire-pits and urns so that we no longer need to depend on the 3D Warehouse for our components. The course will focus in on a series of plug-ins useful to our work as garden designers.
A range of digital planting techniques will be discussed and demonstrated, along with looking at more sophisticated textures than those which are generally available. This course therefore aims to develop skills which can make SketchUp easier and more enjoyable to use for us as garden designers, along with making our models far more appealing when we present to our clients.
