Freelance garden designer

Wilson Associates Garden Design are looking to add to their freelance team of talented garden designers/landscape architects to join this innovative and growing practice. We are a small practice committed to creating high quality gardens & landscapes and we require someone who shares our passion for our industry, to join us

The role is on a freelance basis and will:

Assist in processing design projects from start to finish
Focus on construction and design detailing
Delivering detailed designs for both hard and soft landscaping
Producing visuals
Producing specifications, bills of quantity and tender documents.
Offer great rates of pay and flexibility

You will be qualified:

And experienced in landscape architecture or garden design and ideally educated to Degree level (or a Diploma or recognised certification from accredited institutions).
Be conversant in all stages of project development – from analysis to concept design, construction, implementation and management
Competent in delivering detailed designs for both hard and soft landscaping.
Proficiency in Vectorworks Landmark is essential
Sketch up and Photoshop
Plant knowledge is desirable

You are:

Dynamic, self-motivated, creative and well organised
Passionate about garden design
Comfortable working independently and capable of carrying projects from concept to implementation.
You will have good communication skills
Able to self-manage time, workloads and work to deadlines
Want to be part of a growing business

Currently the role will be home-based (our studio is in Worcester) but there may be opportunities for you to work both in our office and at your home, in the future.
