This full day event (split over 2 half days) will give delegates an overview of the top 6 most impactful and relevant social media platforms of 2020 - Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Houzz, LinkedIn and Pinterest -helping them to develop a practical social media plan for their own business.
Topics covered will include an overview on how to define your brand, why social media is important, what it is and what it isn’t, an overview of each platform, what are key tactics, how to respond to analytics as well as showing examples of what ‘good’ looks like.
On the second day, delegates, with some homework, will workshop their own Social Media Plan based on their brand objectives in order to develop a strategy utilising the individual businesses – USPs (unique selling points), target marketing sector/s, new understanding of each social media platform, resources available and goals for 2020 and beyond.
About the presenter: Digital strategy and marketing leader with 16 years agency and client-side experience, Richard has worked with, among others, leading lifestyle brands across UK and global markets bringing an entrepreneurial and commercial focus. He is an industry expert in digital marketing strategy, planning and execution; social media, content and influencer marketing; performance marketing and organic business development.
Target audience: Garden Designers with limited or no knowledge of social media.
