In order to aid the SGD’s Pre-Registered Members through the adjudication journey, the SGD Council and Adjudication Committee are running a series of Core CPD sessions through the end of December and into 2021. These sessions will take place via Zoom and be delivered by members of the adjudication committee.
The course details are below:
Title: Client Brief and Designer Contract Documentation

Times: 10.00am - 2.15pm (with a 15 minute comfort break)
Numbers: Maximum 20
Target audience: Principally for Pre-Registered members and Friends about to move to Pre-Registered and fully Registered members looking for a refresh on a specific topic. This course will cover the following areas:
- The general principles of the Client Brief
- Agreeing the Client Brief and reviewing practical needs & constraints
- Designer contract documentation
- Design contracts and fee proposals
- Terms of Engagement including JCLI contracts
