As the SGD celebrates 40 years of garden and landscape design, this two-day symposium held at RHS Wisley, will examine the past, cast a critical eye on current practice and propose new ways of working together to address the rapidly changing demands of people and planet.
Designed to help the whole industry work collaboratively to forge plans for a responsible, creative, relevant and rewarding future in the way we practice, the event promises to be lively, stimulating and significant for us all.
Focusing on People, Places, Plants and Planet, a mix of highly - acclaimed designers and thinkers will cover a range of topics including communicating their current strategies.
Sharing their wisdom and expertise, speakers will challenge us to explore ideas further with delegates also sharing their own valuable experience and address vital matters of concern in more detail. Key ideas generated here and from the daily speaker panel discussions, will be recorded and will contribute to a new SGD Manifesto, our Blueprint for the Future. It is our aim to have this as a clear outcome from the 2-day symposium.
We look forward to you joining us in this celebration of the past and a proactive shaping of our future.
