Using Colour Theory to Compose Planting Schemes

It is a common place of our design training to caution against letting colour take the lead when composing planting schemes. However, colour is undeniably a priority and a major component of any composition. This down ranking of colour in the design process can rob us of an excellent design tool - colour theory.  The question is, can we succeed in creating wonderful planting combinations if we let colour take a leading role? I think we can.

Join me to explore a model of colour theory and find out for yourself. As with all my CPD workshops they are split over two mornings, one week apart. After the first session on the theory, you will apply the methodology at home. During the second session we will share and discuss the fruits of your efforts.
