ALREADY PRACTISING

Which type of SGD membership is right for me?

If you are already practicing as a professional garden designer or landscape architect, you can apply for Registered Membership of the Society. This involves first becoming a Pre-Registered Member and applying to go through the accreditation process. If you already hold a body of design work, it is possible to progress quickly.

Find out more about Pre-Registered Membership and apply to join here.

Recently Qualified

I recently qualified as a Garden Designer or Landscape Architect

Those who have just graduated, are setting up their own design business or starting out in the industry, or who have only been practicing for a short period of time, can apply to become a Pre-Registered Member. You will be expected to progress in your career and apply for accreditation, so you can become a Registered Member within five years. If you know that you will need more time than this, you can choose to become a Friend of the Society initially instead.

Find out more about Pre-Registered Membership and apply to join now here.
